What kind of sucked last night was that there was a younger girl standing next to me at the front, who I believe video recorded every single song, and took a f*** ton of pics of everything, posting stuff to her Insta story and editing photos and all that, during the whole set. Just kind of sad to see really. I try to take select photos during the set when the lighting is really good, but I really try to focus on visually just taking the entirety of the set in, as that is the best way you'll remember a live experience like that
I think this was my first time seeing him play it since my very first Noah show in, like, 2013? would have loved some Carry the Ghost songs, but it was still an excellent show. apparently Kamikaze was written just before his last show here in the same venue, so that was dope.
The show in Detroit last night was incredible. Love seeing him play solo/with just Abby but it's absolutely nuts with a full band. Wish I could live in that show forever.
Question for those who play...Anyone know what tuning Noah has for the Paste Session? Is it a half step down? Standard? Bit of a novice with these type of things.
He's in standard. Lover is all C-G-D in the verse. C-E-D in the chorus. Also his D's are usually almost always a regular C chord moved 3 frets down. It's clear from the video.
He's also using drop D tuning on the new album, both Robin Williams and Wild Horses are played with drop D.
New Scott Ruth EP getting released on Friday. Bummer that three of its songs we’ve already heard but I’m excited nonetheless. Scott Ruth's 'Telephone' EP Is Intimate Rock with a Heart of Gold - Atwood Magazine
I really wish this was longer and I hadn’t heard half of the songs already but hot damn this little ep is so good. I really dug midnight in NM. Definitely think Noah fans should listen.
It's finally cold here in Florida – well, "cold" – and I've gained a new appreciation for this album, which I already loved. "Audrey Hepburn," Lord, what a song.
Don’t know if anybody’s seen this yet, but this beautiful acoustic version of Lose You released tonight
