I really like this album but I honestly don't get much out of the last 3-4 tracks, they just sort of float in a pretty ether without anything standing out

Love tracks 1-7 for the most part, Magic Trick and Body are tops

 

His cathedral concert every year is my favorite thing.

 

Apparently he tracked an entire new album this week???

 

I wonder musically where that recording falls. Happy to see him keeping busy making lots of music.

 

Maybe he means a live record? That seems like an insane turnaround.

 

He had talked about more Young In The City too I believe. Maybe lockdown was productive in terms of writing or he was able to delay A Pillar for a while and just kept the release under wraps.

 

At the concert last night, he mentioned that they did a live tracking for the set they played at the cathedral, saying they were going to do a live stream of that set that they'd filmed. He indicated that this new record was in addition to that, so I don't think it's a live thing.

 

This is nuts to me. The two best songs on the album are in the last four tracks!

 

Blankets is one of my absolute favorites of the album lol

 

This St Marks Cathedral show seems like it was the most amazing performance! Hopefully that’s what he filmed and it’ll be released soon!

How would you even do that now? Live concert DVD’s aren’t really a thing anymore

What did y'all use to download it? I was able to snag one of his other livestreams last year but none of my typical downloaders are working on this one haha.

Beautiful performance though. The man is just insanely talented. The Hallelujah cover in this is stunning.

 

I usually grab the stream manifest with yt-dl(p) but I used a Chrome extension this time. Can’t recall the name off the top of my head. If I think about it tomorrow, I’ll update this with a link.

Had my first listen of this today. Noah just gets better and better.

 

his best songs are spread throughout his discography and in the various styles he does. Still really enjoying the new record. Cool to know Salt has a couple bsides still to come and he’s already completed recording some new music.

 

When listening today that hit me big time. My real introduction was White Noise and I've been hooked ever since.
