This is my favorite album of the year by such a wide margin. It’s just hit me like a freight train over these past few weeks. I’ve got a write up of it coming later today.
Only on Exit Signs but this is a delight. Certainly not regretting my vinyl preorder decision after a few beers last night. Oops.
Songwriting is topnotch here. I'll say that after a few listens it doesn't quite have any songs that hit as hard as some of the stuff on Lover for me, but overall it's so beautiful. "Lush" was really a great word to describe it.
yeah, i definitely still think Lover is the best thing he's ever done, but this is also amazing. feels like a sonically more-optimistic companion to Lover in a way.
Very good. I've only listened a few times, but it's a nice step into a different sonic mold for her, without losing the charm and songwriting chops that made her debut so great.
My thoughts exactly. Everything since Ledges just hasn't lived up to how much I loved that Album. Carry The Ghost was good but not Ledges good. Then White Noise and Lover just left me a little disappointed. Not that they were bad albums but the replay value for me just wasn't there. Maybe should go check those albums out again. That being said I can see myself playing this one a lot especially with this nice cool, rainy, weather we're having right now.
I just knew I'd love this. I'm listening to this while working and watching the rain outside my window. Work sucks, but this is amazing.
What an incredible album. The Coast and Exit Signs are a perfect duo. Weird how I was traveling when Lover was released too. So glad Thai released today.
Posting Craig's review now. Definitely the reaction I was expecting from most ... this is just so damn good.
