With the way things go now, I wouldn't be surprised if the next Bond is announced within a year of 25 coming out.
Definitely possible considering how much more in tune with entertainment news and happenings we are now with social media as compared to 1995 or even as recent as 2006.
With the popularity of cinematic universes right now I wouldn't be surprised if the next Bond is announced immediately after Craig's run and they begin pumping out Bond films on at least a yearly basis.
Yeah, it's why I never got on the Elba train. Great as he is, he'd probably be pushing 50 by the time his first Bond movie came out. I think they'll want someone younger who can stick around for awhile. My bet is they cast someone like a year after Bond 25, with that person's first Bond film arriving in 2022. I'd be pretty surprised if either of those things happened, honestly.
So sounds like if Danny Boyle gets the gig it will be a completely different movie How A Danny Boyle-Directed James Bond Film Could Happen: Think ‘Trainspotting’ Reunion
Saw an article that mentioned possibilities of Cillian Murphy taking over after Craig. obviously with Craig's next movie having not even started those rumors are nothing and will change 50 times, but.... I'd be down with Cillian Murphy, especially by then, I think he'd be perfect age, doesn't look too young but could get a number of films under his belt before feeling too old. and he can be incredibly charming while have that cold look in his eyes of "I've killed a ton of people" haha.
Now Even Danny Boyle Thinks Danny Boyle Will Direct BOND 25 I just want news of a film ready to go and when it starts filming haha. need some more Bond in my life.
every time I get a notification for this thread I hope it's a confirmed production date/casting info/etc. lol, I definitely need more Bond ASAP.
I got the 24 disc Blu-ray set from Amazon a while ago but haven't watched through it yet, I'm really excited to watch them all in order leading up to Bond 25.
https://www.express.co.uk/entertain...s-Bond-25-Daniel-Craig-retires-Tom-Hardy-007/ not sure how to make titles for hyperlinks on mobile but it says Hardy is replacing Craig. April Fools??? Damn they edited the article
James Bond: Casino Royale I went back and forth whether to put this in here or in the comics, but figured higher chance of bond fans in here haha
I actually still really enjoy Spectre. It by no means amazing. but I kind of love all bond movies for varying reasons. sometimes despite the flaws, sometimes because of the flaws haha. but yeah I don't know, I feel like, save for some really odd and poor story choices that movie gets way more hate than it deserves.
Yeah Spectre is not Casino Royale or Skyfall level but it's still one of the better Bond films and far from the dumpster fire people make it out to be.
