The opening scene in Mexico for Spectre is awesome and I'll watch just that part. The movie as a whole drags and the twist kind of sucks

The Spectre opening, the first time I saw it on the big screen, was as thrilling as any Bond opening. The movie never reaches those heights again. Train fight is fun, though.

I always thought that scene kind of sucked due to the horrendous shaky cam.

Interesting choice. I actually find myself to be a bit of a fan of his, and usually find he brings a lot to movies when he shows up. Outlaw/King jumps to mind. At the same time though, I'm not such a huge fan of his that the idea of him being tied up with Bond exclusively for several years bums me out.

Considering he’s a fav Bind of mine (Living Daylights is great), I’m ok with the comparison

That looks more Mission Impossible than James Bond.

Would prefer they went with more of an unknown, but we'll see if it turns out to be true.

  20. What's wrong with Idris Elba, though? Just de-age him like they do in Star Wars.

Bullet Train is fun, I don't think I've seen ATJ in anything else other than Kick-Ass and Avengers 2, though.

Elba would have been great 10-15 years ago. I want them to go with someone younger and less known and let them do 6 or so movies. Go back to the days of just one off missions, everything doesn't have to tie together.

They should at least cast Elba as another older, wiser 00 agent or something like that.

He doesn't want to do it and I can't blame him

  24. yeah I was joking, it would be impractical to de-age him in all five movies

They should de-age him for 2, have him be his actual age for 2 and then the last 2 he’s 85.
