Honestly whoever they get to play him I just want suave Bond. Book Bond is probably closest to a mix of Connery and Craig.
Yeah, if “Snake Eyes” is any indication of Golding’s acting prowess in action movies, I don’t know about that. But I guess that’s like judging Daniel Craig for his performance in “Tomb Raider.”
I watched all of Craig leading up to NTTD in theaters. As forgettable as QoS and Spectre are, I think it works better that way rather than skipping them entirely, if only because QoS and NTTD are more direct sequels than usual. I have all five on DVD. NTTD is kind of a downer. Might rewatch just the Ana de Armas scenes, it's a bit soon to go through them all again
NTTD suffers because the Ana de Armas/Cuba sequence is just so, so good that everything after that feels like a comedown. Movie has grown on me the more I watch it though.
Quantum has 0 re-watchability for me, even if i were doing a Craig watch, i would probably skim or entirely skip QoS. I enjoy Spectre, I know I'm close to alone here, but, for me its good.
Casino Royale is the best QoS works well if you watch it directly after CR Skyfall is great and is just slightly below CR Spectre could have been great but they tried to stuff too much into it, still enjoy it though No Time to Die I enjoyed from what I remember but I only saw it once in theaters, need to rewatch it soon
This is pretty much how I feel about QoS, I definitely don’t think it can stand on its own, but as a direct sequel it works for me. In its own weird way it helps humanize Craig’s Bond, who would definitely be volatile after what happened with Vesper
The opening scene in Mexico for Spectre is awesome and I'll watch just that part. The movie as a whole drags and the twist kind of sucks
