read an interesting article this morning (that i cant find now) that reported that the rumored opening for the next bond film will be the death of his wife (lea seydoux's character from spectre) and the movie will focus on his revenge mission. unsure how much i like it, and unsure how factual this even is since i havent read that anything has even been written yet.
Thats what the article referenced, it wanted to pick up the lazenby storyline or take what was left of it and make it craigs
Daniel Craig does work well with Fincher. But where did that name come from haha. Unless I missed it somewhere in the article.
I'll be very interested to see how quickly they cast someone after Bond 25 comes out. Based on the timelines between films lately, I feel like we might not have a movie with a new Bond until 2022/23. If that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a Bond that no one is even talking about for the role right now.
6 years between Dalton and Brosnan, and 4 years between Brosnan and Craig. I think I'd be perfectly fine with the replacement not being anyone who is even remotely close to the list right now, because it would just mean (unless the trigger is pulled very quickly on Bond26) the person theyre looking at now would be 4-5 years older than they are now when they were put on the list.
