I really loved most of this, was just a bit disappointed/confused with how the villain was handled. Ana de Armas was amazing and I'd watch a spin off movie of her character.
Lost steam in the middle and Rami Malek was super dull but otherwise I loved it. Loved the opening and how that first hour or so never let up and kept getting interesting in different ways.
I absolutely loved this, shook up the series in positive ways while taking far braver decisions than we have seen before in the series. It didn't feel its length at all, the score by Hans Zimmer as well as the inclusion of older music from prior films was well-done and because it felt like a loose remake of my favourite Bond film it came across like the classic era I know and love but crucially without leaning too heavily on its past.
Don't have much of an opinion on the songs prior to Craig's films but having watched them all over the last week, seeing Sam Smith's song last makes me happy. Hate that song.
I find it works fine within the context of the film but it isn't one I would choose to play, not the worst though because Die Another Day exists...
So excited for tonight Also, wonder how many in my theatre will be wearing a mask; I know I will for sure
Depends on yourself to be honest because I remember all of his efforts quite vividly and only rewatched Spectre due to my family wanting to see it again. So if you can't quite recall everything in the previous four films I'd recommend watching them again but there isn't much that isn't talked about in-depth in the film anyway in respect to prior events.
my theater has a bunch of showings tomorrow night that look like they have lots of open seats for - gonna try to see it tomorrow since im out all weekend and dont wanna miss out on discussion!
