I have no doubt this will make a shit ton of money, but pre-sales having been trending upwards for a while and it isn't necessarily an indicator of how much a film is going to gross overall.
I’m wondering if the story in NTTD will have any impact on the way Spectre is viewed in retrospect similar to the way Quantum is viewed more favorably when viewed more as a continuation of the events in Casino.

Looks like some serious classics here I haven’t seen before The 26 Best Spy Films Of All Time | Spy Movies Every Man Should Watch
It’s crazy how the world premiere is tomorrow and we really know extremely little about the actual plot of the movie. I think there’s gonna be a lot of surprises that haven’t been hinted at in the trailers/marketing and I’m stoked. Also interested to see the reviews starting after the premiere tomorrow… obviously I’m gonna make up my own mind but I’ll still be interested to see if this is acclaimed similarly to Casino Royale & Skyfall, or more mixed like QoS & Spectre.
Watching this ‘Being James Bond’ thing tonight, surprised how candid they were on QOS not working. Fun so far.
They don’t seem to get why Spectre didn’t work as much. But they did talk about how the injury impacted Craig during it. Wish they got why the story didn’t work as much a they did QOS.
Basically a 45 minute commercial, but I enjoyed that. Fun stuff. Some good insights. And damn I’m exited for B25.
Going to an advance screening of No Time To Die today at my local theater. Looking forward to seeing how it goes.
Yeah it’s a pretty cool theater that is old but is maintained well. We are members to help support and one of the benefits is they try to do advance screenings. Normally they aren’t this big haha. They basically did an RSVP lottery thing and let us know yesterday if we got a seat. Last week, they had an event for a Prime movie called, Black As Night. It’s a horror movie set in New Orleans and has strong POC characters and some depth to the story. Wouldn’t have seen it if not for the theater screening it early and bringing some of the cast, the director, and writer in for q&a afterwards.
