1. that song absolutely kills. love her voice in it. 2. I WILL PAY $30 TO WATCH THIS AT HOME YOU COWARDS
yeah I mean, 2 tickets, the biggest popcorn they have and 2 drinks and maybe a sour patch kids is running me close to $50 anyway so they can have that if theyd just let me watch ittttttttt
$50 is probably the highest I’d go for most movies that have been delayed, but I might be willing to drop $99 for this.
I’d argue that they’d make more releasing it on demand. Everyone stuck at home, not wanting to get hit with spoilers. Drop it in theaters eventually, people will go.
Not that it really matters, but I wonder what this means for Billie’s song getting an Oscar nom with the song coming out within this year’s cycle, and the movie not until next year’s.
Also I’m totally lying, if this dropped on VOD I’d watch it immediately. Dune? That I’m willing to wait for
I just finished the On Her Majesty’s Secret Service novel. The World Is Not Enough reference was awesome.
Nice! I’m so bummed I have only 3 left. I don’t think I could properly rank them, but my top 3 so far are probably: Moonraker From Russia With Love On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Least favorites: Diamonds Are Forever The Spy Who Loved Me
If anybody is interested in real life spying and espionage and wants to go down a really interesting rabbit hole, do some research on the Mossad, Israel's version of the CIA. They're pretty much regarded as the top (or close to) spying agency in the world, and they've been a part of some incredible/daring missions over the decades. Just finished watching the Apple TV+ show "Tehran", about a Mossad agent in Iran, watched 2005's "Munich", about Mossad's response to the Munich massacre in '72, and now I'm on a 4-part documentary called "Inside the Mossad", which covers some fascinating stuff.
