i have a perfect record intact of stopping what i’m doing and watching skyfall any time it is on tv no matter where it is in the movie.
I think Casino Royale is a better movie but also that Skyfall is a better James Bond movie. (Edit: this maybe makes more sense in my head.)
See I think the opposite. Skyfall is a way better-made film than Casino Royale, but Casino Royale is way more of a Bond movie than Skyfall is.
i prefer Skyfall but cannot argue with those who prefer Casino, they're both in my top 5, and I think they both belong in the top 5 overall.
there’s way more in CR that makes me roll my eyes in a “what we’re they thinking” way than skyfall. not that it’s bad. i pretty decent. but there’s more of an argument for skyfall being the best bond movie, period, than there is for CR being the best Craig bond.
Team Casino Royale. I enjoy Skyfall, but it hasn't aged as well for me over the years. I always find myself wrapped up in Casino's storylines and action set pieces
Been thinking about this series a lot lately and only just now realised that with Connery, Moore and Brosnan that each of their final films aren't just my least favourite films that they did but each also ranks right at the bottom overall. Really hope that isn't the case with this one.
Whoa theres a movie from the 50’s directed by Terence Young and written by Richard Maibum called No Time To Die No Time to Die (1958 film) - Wikipedia
My girlfriend and I just watched all the Craig films over the last few days. So pumped for the next installment. I definitely enjoyed Spectre more after watching in such close proximity to the others. I had also never seen Quantum for some reason and was pleasantly surprised with that one. I also desperately want a Craig Bond crossover movie with Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt.
I can agree with this a bit - though I’ve become an old man and 90% of the movies I watch at home now get split into two nights because I fall asleep haha.
