This is so weird. I mean to look on the bright side, November is totally James Bond season, but yeah, the rollout will be weird/expensive given all the ads a whatnot they’ll have to do for the year
i wonder if it’s an awards play. if this is good, i wouldn’t be shocked if Craig makes an awards play exiting the series
I’ve seen it compared to Spanish Flu so many times and if that comparison follows... November could be way worse.
I was being flippant. That is possible. We still have so much to learn about the virus at this point.
Don't see why the release can't be staggered country to country like other films do plus Europe outside of Italy isn't in a bad way right now.
Anything to discourage large groups of people from hanging out in a single room of recycled air is probably a good thing at this point, even if it inconveniences your viewing plans.
Yeah Godzilla vs Kong is the week prior. A proper Disney animated film on Thanksgiving week is gonna be tough competition for Bond
Unsure on tickets. I'd assume you'd get refunded but not sure. I almost bought tickets for this today too. So disappointing. This was the first Bond movie I've been pumped for in a long time, and it has potential to be the best. I get it, but damn shame.
We've sold tickets in the past for shows that were cancelled/moved. You would need to refund them yourself (go to the box office/do it online if that's on option for your theater chain). If you somehow didn't hear the news and still showed up for the showtime on your ticket, we would apologize and offer you free passes. Sooo, yeah, I would just refund them.
Is there a chance that the plot of this movie involves a virus being used to "cull the herd" to combat human impacts on the climate? And that its too sensitive a topic at the moment to risk the backlash?
