It’s insane how good of a job they did in Goldeneye 64 to replicate the sets from the movie. It’s near perfect, considering it’s a system from 25 years ago almost.
Does anyone remember what would happened if you were able to shoot and kill Alec before the final showdown? I just have faint memories of running around the satellite dish with infinite enemies spawning and I can’t remember if he would suddenly reappear for the final showdown or not haha
I'm taking a dance class with my girlfriend and she found a rumba playlist with the Goldeneye theme on it, so I was pretty stoked lol. Song rules.
Has anyone here ever read the Fleming novels? I’m finally getting around to it and i’m annoyed it took me so long to do it. They’re great reads and relatively short so it’s not this massive commitment.
I read most of them when I was a kid. I'd love to return to them now that I'm older and would have a better appreciation of the content.
i've read a few but currently on a run from start to finish, so I'm on Diamonds Are Forever right now. I have these awesome old paperbacks that were my dads, but I really want to get the Folio Society copies as well! Search results for: 'bond'
I read Moonraker recently. It was a breezy, entertaining read, totally different story from the movie, and better off for it (and i do enjoy that movie) be forewarned tho it is VERY sexist, misogynist, parochial etc. I checked out a few of the novels from the library, but after one I had my fill.
I read Casino Royale over the summer and it was a surprisingly good read. It's a tragic story and the movie adaptation captured it really well imo.
so good. the graphic novel adaptation from Dynamite Comics is really well done too. I just picked up their new adaptation of Live and Let Die.
Got CR, and Skyfall on BR since they weren’t on streaming. Loving the behind the scene features on CR. Had no idea it was the first Bond novel, and the 1967 film was a spoof. Also all the stuff with Craig taking on the role is interesting, AND they really had him on that crane!
