He wouldn't take it without complete control though and the ability to do what he wanted. Attaching Craig to it first I think is a sign that's not gonna happen now. His interest in it is very well known though, I could see them letting him do something for 26.
Ya basically what Jason said. Nolan would probably prefer doing Bond when they reboot it again so he can put his own stamp on it. I feel like Craig would be great in a Nolan movie, though.
Yeah I agree that at this point, I don't see Nolan getting involved until a new actor joins. However, if he did somehow join this one I'd be really excited.
if i had to guess, it's likely he will also inherit ralph fiennes, naomi harris, and ben whishaw. i love that guy as Q.
Just a few weeks ago he laid it all out: A Bond movie, definitely. I’ve spoken to the producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson over the years. I deeply love the character, and I’m always excited to see what they do with it. Maybe one day that would work out. You’d have to be needed, if you know what I mean. It has to need reinvention; it has to need you. And they’re getting along very well.
Plus the new character of James Bond's dad who's been secretly alive all these years... ...played by Michael Caine.
Pleased Daniel Craig is back but hoping for something that reaches the heights of Skyfall instead of the messy depths of Spectre. 2019 feels ages away.
Man, lots of Spectre hate in here. It was a misfire for sure, but still had some fantastic elements even if it never quite coalesced into something truly great. That opening sequence in Mexico City is incredible, for instance.
My issue with that scene is it lasts FOREVER. I like SPECTRE quite a bit but it's the weakest of the Craig-era IMO.
Some speculation... Rumored titled is Shatterhand. It's being adapted from the 2001 Raymond Benson book, Never Dream of Dying. In it, Bond goes up against a blind villain in charge of a French organization called The Union. Christoph Waltz and Dave Bautista will apparently return as well. All of this comes from the Mirror so yeah -- believe what you will. It's being trashed by a few sources already.
