The Spy Who Loved Me has no business being anyones favorite bond film but somehow its mine lol

 

Just got done watching License To Kill for the first time. Fucking badass

 

Timothy Dalton's movies are fantastic

 

I'm not a Timothy Dalton fan at all and don't care for The Living Daylights...but yeah, License to Kill rules.

 

How has there not been a trailer for this yet?

 

One of my absolute favorites in the series.

Would have loved the OHMSS story with Connery. I also love tomorrow never dies and the world is not enough because I was 10-12 or so when those came out. Die another day not so much lol.

 

I know, it's a shame we didn't get it with Connery, it's one of the main reasons I'd be okay with them redoing some of the books at this point. that and because as fun as Roger Moore is, so many of the books titles were used up with his movies and I'd like to see proper adaptations of them haha. Die Another Day I enjoy for the same reasons I enjoy Batman and Robin, just bonkers insanity entertainment, but bad movies haha

 

anybody in here read any of the Bond comics? I've read a large majority of the Dynamite ones and have really enjoyed them. Also the Casino Royale graphic novel was great, can't wait for the Live and Let Die one!

 

I still have a soft spot for Tomorrow Never Dies. Carver was a good villain.

 

Die Another Day might be the worst one that I've ever seen. Just way too corny.

 

Yeah it's the worst Bond. At least the Moore ones are campy fun, Die Another Day is just straight up bad.

Just saw a bunch of the Bond movies are on Amazon Prime. Gonna have to do a marathon one of these days. While we're on the topic of best and worst, Die Another Die has the absolute worst song.

 

The only Bond movie worse than Die Another Day might be A View to a Kill. Truly abysmal.

I watched Live And Let Die after doing this and I’d drop that one down a spot...or two...or three. Not so good!

And I’d probably put Octopussy over Spy Who Loved Me too; most def the lesser of the two but I think it’s a lot more fun.

 

wild lol. skyfall is easily top 3 of the series, let alone craig
