Sooo they took a production still, cropped it, and then put that ugly font on it and called it a poster? Mmmk.
Just peeked at that Twitter thread and noticed the illustrated poster, which is wayyyy better. Pretty dope artwork, tbh.
Don't love the poster, I'm a big fan of the font of the title, and it just begs to get a classic pocket novel looking poster. but hope this means we are getting closer to a teaser!
funny, i watched spectre on tv today, it's just a bit better than i remember. like, it's decent but i'm of the opinion that it should've been at least twice as good as it was all things considered. not to mention it had the disadvantage of coming out the same year as a whole block of superior spy films (kingsman, spy, rogue nation, man from uncle)
Yeah Spectre isn’t bad at all, it’s just as you said, the context it came out in led to some unfavorable comparisons. Also it had the problem of having to follow Skyfall. Plus it had the whole “Nuh-uh Christoph Waltz isn’t playing Blofeld he’s a new character tee-hee” thing going on, which turned a lot of people off since it was so obvious that’s who he was.
Spectre was a mess. Skyfall is massively flawed, but at least it’s entertaining. Spectre wasn’t even that.
Spectre rejecting Radiohead for a bland Sam Smith song that somehow won an Oscar over Lady Gaga is still insane
The Spectre mountain chase scene is still one of the worst and most boring things I've seen in a bond movie
Yeah, a little better than Quantum of Solace, but I haven’t even watched that since it came out I don’t think.
