No Hard Feelings (Gene Stupnitsky, June 16,2023) Movie

Jennifer Lawrence produces and stars in No Hard Feelings, a laugh-out-loud, edgy comedy from director Gene Stupnitsky (Good Boys) and the co-writer of Bad Teacher. On the brink of losing her childhood home, Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence) discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, before he leaves for college. To her surprise, Maddie soon discovers the awkward Percy is no sure thing.

This looks funny! Summer 2023 is giving us 5 studio comedies I believe

 

I'm a sucker for dumb raunchy comedies, and other than the weiner joke this looks like a good time

 

Trailer stared out really funny but being economically coerced into prostitution sucks. I felt really bad for her by the end of that

 

I know I sound like a dork, but man this makes me miss PG-13 comedies.

 

My eyes almost rolled out of my head at the line about how her mom would have wanted her to save the house lol

 

I saw this trailer like four times on TV and didn't realize it was Jennifer Lawrence til now

 

This gonna be so good

 

need more movies like this

 

this movie is largely good because of lawrence selling it. i wish the writing were a little stronger (final act, namely) but there’s certainly no dearth of laughs if you have the right crowd with you. hope this finds some life at theaters with flash biting it

 

Very enjoyable. The last act goes on for way too long and has too many bits. But the first two acts are strong enough to forgive it. Hope Lawrence makes more comedies. That is, if comedies still exist.

 

Jen and Andrew were both great

 

He was. He’d be perfect for the leading role in “Nathan Fielder: The Movie.”

 

very fun time at the movies. hopefully the beginning of some more comedies popping up.

 

Obviously not everyone’s cup of tea but he’s very funny on today’s Podcast The Ride

This was decent, not quite as funny as I’d expected or hoped but still good!

 

Definitely agree with this. Last act suffered slightly but overall this was a real fun time at the movies.

 

I didn’t really enjoy this, was pretty bored most of the time and only laughed once.

 

i laughed more than once but agree it wasn't very good. the attempts at adding a real story were lame.
