Well, since they've been working on the album for approximately two years now and have finally made an official announcement, I think "soon" is a fair description. But thanks for pointing that out.

I mean, they said "real soon" 5 months ago. So I'm not holding my breath until anything actually happens.

  5. So that press release contains many song titles, but seems to have been written last summer. I'm crossing fingers for a Spring release.

Yeah I hope they play some new songs on this tour at least…

Some of those are Thursday headline dates, so I’m guessing that means we get a double set from Geoff?

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

No, they’re only on 2/20-2/26. None of those dates are the Thursday tour.

  11. Not only they’ve updated their Instagram but they’re active on it again. Looks like they’re finally going to start the rollout for LP2.

    There’s more on their stories.

Sucks to see that they've lost Jamie, Mike and Luke but I'm glad Lee is still there. He was/is one of my favourite guitarists since the early 00's and it's blasphemy that he hasn't done much over the last decade musically.

  13. Yeah having followed them for close to two decades, it's only sinking in that half of that line-up remains now. Feels bittersweet as a fan, even though I'm grateful Lee and Stu are still making music together.

The album was coming "soon" back in 2021 so I can only assume "imminent" means by Q4

I have this weird feeling that this is going to be my AOTY and satisfy my desire for new Thursday at the same time.

I really want to believe it's coming out next month and that it's going to have a short rollout. They're only touring in July and Geoff (edit: + Stu) immediately jumps back into Thursday for the rest of the year, so it would make sense to have it out by then.

Geoff also said at least one or two songs would be released before the tour starts.
