    The key is in the dialogue. The film is constantly hammering the inevitability and unpredictability of death and the truth that no one is above it (including Chigurh, as noted by the car crash). The lack of resolution IS the resolution here. That's what makes the story so affecting and eerily relatable. Watch again and pay close attention to the dialogue and those themes if you get the chance.
