Incredible event. Literally every match was good. Even the battle royale that is usually awful served a purpose
Just watched the main event. Not as familiar with all these guys as the rest of you but damn that was good. Omega deserved to win that one but I can't be mad. Can someone tell me the top 3-4 matches from the rest of the event? I will never be able to sit down and watch all of that haha Also, I'm most likely going to Tokyo in April. Is there usually anything big-ish planned with NJPW during that time?
You can watch the last four matches and be good. Last year, Invasion Attack was in April. That's a decently big show for them.
This is a good starter guide for their big shows up to August: So you just started NJPW and now that WK11 and NYD is over, you don't know what to do next. Here is the Complete Idiots Guide to NJPW through August 2017. • /r/SquaredCircle
Okada/Suzuki was excellent. Thought for sure Suzuki was going to win there, wonder what the plans for Okada are from here.
Took advantage of a snow day yesterday and finally watched Sunday's ppv. Def agreed with both statements here. Nothing exciting outside of the main event. As a newer fan of NJPW, Ishii is becoming one of my favorites. He's such a badass and it's definitely entertaining having Yano being a complete goofball alongside him.
Not a whole lot last night in terms of title changes. Excited to watch the Dragon Lee match later today.
I just booked my flights for Tokyo. I tried to find an event calendar for NJPW but had trouble. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Would be cool to see an event while I'm there.
They have a few dates so far, but only half way through your stay. new japan pro wrestling official site, hot news, roster, tickets, merchandise, results
