All those Rockstar ports are so fucking odd and lame. You’d think they could spend a little more time and money on their legacy.

 

I love BotW because of the open world and how much you can explore and stuff you can find. This might sound like a dumb question, but would I like The Witcher 3?

Uh, I think so, unless you don't like dark fantasy. Have you played Skyrim? You might also like that one for its open world. I think the Switch port is pretty good.

I'm not mistepmisrepresenting anything. Nintendo did a terrible marketing job with the GameCube. That's not a false statement at all. Also they had their optical discs that could only hold 1.5 gigs. They literally had to remove features and content from games to be able to be fit into those discs.

The GameCube, which I love, is still a baffling console.

 

I was wrestling with this on the eshop this morning. I like Skyrim, and I assume Witcher is the same vibe, but I’m hesitant to spend $60 on it in case it’s not and/or if the graphics quality is as poor as some of the side-by-sides make it look to be.

 

The advantage Skyrim has in that regard is that it’s a 360 game so, unlike Witcher 3, the Switch version isn’t a downport. It looks better on Xbox One (X) and PS4 (Pro) though of course.

 

That 1.5 gig thing was a problem, yeah.

 

It looks like absolute dogshit imo but it is one of the best games ever with an interesting world and an extremely compelling narrative.

Im very pleased with it, it's downgraded of course but I rarely think about it and it never hinders the actual gameplay.

 

Gameplays always been more important to me then graphics so I'm happy to hear that. Won't bother me either.
