DQ5 has a great port on DS. That's arguably the best way to play what is arguably the best DQ.

 

Dark Souls port is basically the PS3/360 version so I doubt it would be great

 

5 is still great

 

Those 360 versions of DS were fine, good enough for a handheld for sure

 

I'm pretty sure it's DQ5 that I bought

 

Literally one of the best JRPGs of all time, well done lol

 

I mean I know the game would have to be dumbed down, but was anyone playing sekiro for the sick gfx?

DQ7 and DQ8 are very good ports on 3DS, highly recommend getting those

Oh I'm not sure, I don't remember reading that, I just know it runs really well lol, also they added a lot of stuff to it and made some QoL changes

 

I played DQ8 on 3ds and didnt notice anthing missing really, felt like a great port.

 

I think DQ8 on 3DS is great but it's also the only way I've played it

 

In fact 3ds is the first version to introduce the option to speed up battles, which is always fantastic to have

Ah it’s the music not being fully orchestrated anymore, never mind then

 

The music is the only knock on DQ11, it didnt bother me at all but its legitimate

 

DQXI is the only good DQ.

 

One need only look at how Square re-did the visuals in Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls for an example of how it should be done. It's like everyone, including them, forgot they did that. Just make them look like SNES games ffs, why go through all the effort for them to look like trash.
