Good call for them to release iOS and Android at the same time. By the time Super Mario Run came to Android, all of the excitement and interest seemed to disappear toward that game in general

 

Oh wtf I don't know if this has been shared already, but the new Animal Crossing won't allow cloud saves. Honestly, fuck Nintendo for doing this to random games. Insane that in 2019 they don't allow us to back certain things up, even to an SD card or something

it should be fine to use a regular ass car charger plug and the cable that came with my Switch to charge it right?

 

Might depend on the quality of the car charger. I know Nintendo does not follow USB C standards, so it's hard to say how it'd behave. I think as long as it isn't a fast charger, you should be fine, but can't say for sure

 

I’m like 99% sure it’s a fast charger. It says it’s charging but still too dead to power up at the moment.

 

Yeah I don't think the switch is setup properly to handle high electrical current and if it is a fast charger, I wouldn't risk it. Fast chargers can cause overheating in devices that are even setup for it if used while plugged in.

Could be wrong but I wouldn't risk it, there are mixed opinions on this so I can't really give a solid answer

Ah thanks for the heads up. Had like an hour and a half to kill today and forgot it was super dead. Not even worth messing with it at this point I’ll just plug it in when I get home.

 

Yeah maybe there are others in here who may be more experienced with it, I know I get overly paranoid with fast charging in general :P. My Galaxy S8 has a fast charger, and I only plug it in if I'm not going to use it simultaneously, I unplug when it's done charging, and never leave it overnight, just because there are heating issues and I don't want to degrade the life of my battery

There are already too many games for me to play on the Switch this fall to spend 100 hours on a four-year old game.
