you have to have NSO when you redeem the vouchers too though not just when you buy them

EDIT actually i checked and it specified "paid subscription" so you would have to wait until after the free trial period

 

Mario Maker was amazing, especially if you put a little time into finding levels. This one will be even better.

has anyone got any experience with the season pass? Is the extra content worths?

If you want more quests and blades then yes

 

I have the season pass. It has some cool extra quests and blades but it's definitely not a must have to experience the game. Since you told me that you generally stick to the default crew the value from the extra blades probably isn't there for you.

Get TORNA though since its fantastic.

 

I kinda wanna spend more time in this world so to speak so I might go for it.

please talk me into feeling this way. the combat feels so idle and repetitive so far. i like the characters and world but battling is so sluggish. im like level 10

 

like im not being coy i would love if someone could like tell me the battles get more involved down the road because i wanna stay with it but am not finding the hook

i also cant figure out how to pull off driver combos to save my life

 

battling is my favorite part of Xenoblade. the thing that turned me off is I felt like the quest markers were unintuitive. i was continuously struggling to figure out what i should do next. and i ended up googling more than playing the actual game. story is great though.

need to get back to it

 

i think i posted a lengthy tutorial in the xeno thread but i can find some links. it’s really addicting once you get what’s going on. i normally hate it when games put all these convoluted mechanics on top of each other, but for some reason i really like this one

It gets fucking insane. Do you know how to do all the combos (elemental stacks) and stuff yet? (Topple etc) Do you cancel attacks?
The underlying battle system is so sick.

Also until you’re like chapter 4 I suggest just mainlining the story.
