edit: also For the King has a local/online coop where each player can control 1 of the 3 characters.

 

1. Whoever was talking about games they could announce at E3, you missed a new Pikmin entry. I'm willing to bet they will announce at least three ports as Switch entries.for 2019: Metroid Prime Trilogy, Pikmin and maybe Wind Waker HD or Wonderful 101. They really don't have to rely on completely new games because there are a ton of great games no one played on Wii U.

2. Played a good amount.of the first Mary Skelter. That game does not need or deserve a sequel.

 

Super hot take: Metroid Prime 2 and 3 need major reworks to hold up.

It’s because of the way the GameCube controller was. Turning on the left stick until you lock on was never not weird but definitely something you can get used to.

 

No it's because they decided to reinvent the shooter wheel and shit the bed accordingly. Luckily they learned from it with Splatoon.

When did you guys play it last? If you play modern shooters I can't imagine they'll be easy for you to go back to. They're so odd. To me they would be so much better if they would just control like Halo or whatever.

Note: I'm not saying they are bad games. Just that they play bad lol

 

Yeah it's been forever, but you don't think they will tweak a remaster of the games???

 

No I don't, because even the Wii games, even in the context of motion controls, still refused to adapt to contemporary shooter standards. I don't think the choices they made all throughout the series in terms of controls/gameplay helped those games in any way.

I'm not even hopeful they'll change it for 4, haha.

I think the Wii release played great. Being able to move and aim at the same time made a world of difference.

 

No it’s not, at every point in that series plenty of other games had created a standard that was obviously better. So they sticked to their own thing for a reason. I just don’t think it worked lol

I would bever want the game to be a CoD-like, but I’d sure prefer it to control like one lol Actually, if Prime played like Destiny or Halo 5 it’d be so good

yea i think it was released some weeks ago. there’s too many things releasing rn, hard to keep track of everything and i add a bunch of stuff on my wishlist weekly.

how is coop in that game? the art style is what got me. it looks like an Adventure Time game, or something from Cartoon Network
