    I was just thinking of jet force Gemini the other day when people were talking about renting games. What a let down that one was.

    Nevermind - apparently I’m in the minority for having not enjoyed it. I thought it was trashed when it was released but I guess not.

    They surely have cancelled a lot of games they never announced, maybe it’s something like that. Maybe it’s also just a “dead” IP.

    Metroid Dread actually makes some sense. Remake it as a 2.5D game in HD. Put it out on Switch as a stopgap since Prime 4 is probably 4 years out at this point. I can see it. MercurySteam could be working on it as we speak.

    Thank god Earthbound 64 never happened I do not think it would of been ANY good on N64, that is NOT an RPG system, yes i'm bashing Quest 64 y'all

    If you look at prototype footage of Earthbound 64, it's wild how much of that game made it into Mother 3 on the GBA later. Nintendo never throws anything away.

    I had a friend who owned it. It was pretty good.

    Also that's one game I always randomly hear about online for some reason haha. It's time for a remake.

    I personally think it was a better game than Mario Kart 64 in terms of mechanics. Even had a fun battle mode

    I thought most of the love for it came from nostalgia and rainbow road/wario stadium jumps.

    Mario 64 was amazing then. Judging it by today’s standards isn’t really helpful for a game like that.
