Direct is supposed to be happening next week.

Instead of a Direct this week, they dropped a couple of release dates and announcements to make room for next week.

“make room”? it’s not like they’re airing it on TV, it’s a stream that can be as long as they want. this is the same company that did like an hour on just Smash mechanics. feels like an ass covering to me

None of the leakers specifically said that the Direct was coming this week, they just said soon or in January.

I'm straight up pulling the "making room" nonsense out of my butt. Haha.

 

Final Fantasy X/X-2 will be coming out 2 weeks prior. April 16th.

 

That's awesome - never beat it for PS2.

According to this they're all coming in 2019 (not 8 I guess)

I know they don't have the scores to 8 anymore for sure, when they did the Distant Worlds tour they had to write some of the 8 song scores from scratch

I really hope 7 and 9 have the fast forward feature on them. Especially 9. So. Much. Dialogue.

 

8 is the one I've spent the least time with. I always loved a lot of the characters and summons tho. The entire party was a lot of fun. Probably one of the few games I could name all of the members without looking them up lol.

 

Can’t wait to replay 9 on the switch. Fond memories of playing it’s back on the PSOne

 

8 was in way dire need of a remake then 7 was. It's one of my personal favorites and I always feel it's very underrated. I get the combat complaints though because it's extremely poorly done

 

I just think 8 was too easy, I know i'm beating a dead horse, but the junction system is too easy to take advantage of. I'm sure in a remake they could tweak the junction system.

 

you could say the same thing about combat in XII and XIII. Those games were a breeze unless you went out of your way to make them hard.

 

I hit a huge wall in XII about 60% into it. Definitely not a breeze.

 

You just level up to 99 halfway through then beat the game you freak

I do remember this being a bit of a pain but this was not the wall.
