Apparently Nintendo Japan was streaming some of the Testpunch and confirmed at least one change for next weekend: Volleyball will be replaced with Hoops mode.

 

I was already planning on jumping in but I guess I'm 200% certain now?

 

Also I want Amiibos of everyone

Yes in the matter of a single weekend I went from skeptical to obsessed, what can I say, I had a good time.

Which character do you guys plan on main-ing?

Right now I seem to be getting the most out of Ribbon, Ninjara and MinMin.

I've been switching it up but I think I Ribbon Girl's speed and jumps the most. The fact you can eventually unlock every arm on every character makes things super interesting though. I feel like Helix's weird movement has a ton of potential once I can use some arms I'm a bit better at with him.

 

Mr. Mummy, my last seven volleyball games have been 5-0

 

Mummy is so awesome but so sloow. I feel like when people figure out a way around his heal gimmick he'll slide down to bottom tier. Could be way off though. Still to early to tell.

Helix is tricky. I couldn't figure out how to play him. His 2-step shield arms deceive me more than the opponent haha. I always forget to punch twice.

 

I didn't get to play ARMS. General consensus looks like I should get it, right? I've been needing a game for my switch other than BOTW and Splatoon isn't for a while

 

If you don't mind the motion controls then it's dope.

 

Ninjara is the shit! Arms is so fun.

Hey, there are literally dozens of us that are excited for Mario x Rabbids!

 

It's the same (small) dev team as I Am Sestina, pumping out games on a two year cycle is pretty good. I'm into it, just hope it's more varied than I Am Setsuna was.

I'm more excited by a new game from the Bravely people than from the Setsuna people but I'll take both
