finally finished XC1 today after putting it off for a couple of months and god damn what a ride, looks like I have a new favorite JRPG of all time

 

What was your total playtime? After I beat Links Awakening I’m probably gonna finally pick it up.

 

The definitive edition of Xenoblade Chronicles is almost perfect in terms of fixing the problems of the original game. There were only two things I wish they had fixed (the seventh party member falling behind in the skill tree race and the fact that the rebuilding quest doesn't highlight items the way normal quests do).

 

It's been exactly four years since one of the greatest open-world games was released. A game that every Nintendo open-world will be compared to.

If this is BotW then it’s not just every Nintendo open world. It devastated the “genre”.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, you really feel like a cowboy.

I know a lot of people dislike the RDR2 bit but I enjoy it

 

I did a lot of side quests but i ended it at about 61 hours definitely pick it up, I cant recommend it enough. If XBC2 story was lacking for you this story grips you within the first hour and never lets go of you throughout the whole ride

 

The XC2 story is pretty gripping because it is absolutely insane. XCX doesn’t have much of a story though, though what is there is pretty insane too.

I mean, I don’t think 1080 is a huge difference at that size, but I’m still disappointed with not having it.

 

XC2 story took wayyyy too long to get going Ive been told I gave up on the game right before the story gets going. I wish I enjoyed the gameplay more or else I wouldve stuck with it but I couldnt get the hang of it for the life of me

 

The bigger screen is a little worrisome because the Switch is already quite large, but the better battery life, faster response times and 4K when docked is huge. I don't know why anyone would skip this.

 

If they do this, and make the screen larger without compromising the size, it would look very nice.

 

Because they don’t want to pay three hundred bucks for a better version of something they already have
