That game is already playable on those new consoles. What they’re talking about is probably just a patch. The Switch version on the other hand is not just a port, but like a, uh, downport. It’s really not comparable. Probably very different studios.

Got a $50 Amazon gift card for my birthday the other day so decided to take the plunge and finally buy the pro controller. I currently have Mario 3D Allstars, Paper Mario and 3D World sitting unopened so can't wait to dive in with that

I made it to World Crown last night in 3D World. Definitely a bit nervous.

 

Just bought Iconoclasts for like 6 bucks, anyone play it before? I've always been intrigued

 

i preordered hades last week can't wait to finally play it

 

Finally got around to playing Bowser's Fury, and it is so dang good. The way the areas are gated, and the variety of challenges in each area is so cool. Plus having everything in one open world makes such a huge difference. No interruptions in gameplay. You can even skip the annoying cutscenes. They NEED to make a full game like this.

 

There's a lot of speculation that this is a proof of concept for their next game.

 

So since it’s Pokemon Presents and not Pokemon Direct i’ve already changed into my disappointment pants.

 

I could them doing that. Kind of like what they did with Captain Toad.

 

Don't they always call it Pokemon Presents? These come from The Pokemon Company, not Nintendo proper.

Bought Mario 3D World and Bravely Default 2 today


Switch is so easily the GOAT console.

 

Just picked up 3D World recently myself. Game is a joy. Trying to get my 5 year old wanting to play. Right now he's just moving around in the world selector areas.

 

Literally had my 5 year old do the same. She loved it. So cool to see my kid play a Mario game 30 or so years after I first played. Also makes bit me and Mario old.
