Golf Story

 

Just finished the story for age of calamity. I’ll give the game like a 6.5. I don’t see me playing much to 100% every mission

 

Second golf story

 

This thread hypes it up, but...I hate golf.

 

Golf Story was fun, and I’m glad I played it, but I definitely didn’t love it as much as everyone else here seemingly does lol

 

Golf Story is really fun but the end gets too hard.

 

Came extremely close to buying Links Awakening until I saw Luigi's Mansion 3 was also on sale for $39! It was really hard to choose, but I figure I'm getting more value for my money in a game that isn't just a remake. Waiting for it to download but I'm excited to check it out. I've never played a LM game.

 

I've never played a LM game either but this thread is making me want to buy it as well. Okay, adding to cart.

Should I get Spyro? I've never played any of them and it's 20 bucks.

 

I played the Spyro trilogy on Xbox and absolutely loved all of them. Only played bits and pieces of them as a kid, but if you like 3D platformers, you’ll have a blast.

 

I though so too at first but then I realised that the conditions never change so you can brute force your way through it with trial and error. It’s more of a puzzle game than a sports game in many ways.

 

I played it on the PS1 when they first came out. It was my favorite when I was a kid.

 

I discovered Picross yesterday. Now I can't stop playing Picross.

 

Good, now get Link's Awakening

 

I’m going to get Spyro for $20 if any of the stores around me get more in stock. They’re currently sold out

 

I'd say those spyro games are well worth $20, regardless of how they compare to Mario games

 

The original Spyro trilogy > 90% of Mario games. I said it

 

Man, LM3 has a long intro lol. Just unlocked the scientist through that painting. Does this game get any more exciting than slow-walking and sucking up everything I see? . Seems like it could get very repetitive

 

Is it worth it if I thought the NES games were very boring? Not sure how Awakening compared to other 2D Zelda games, but I just haven't been able to get into anything pre-OoT. The artwork really makes me want it though, it looks so cool

 

Once you get gooigi and start going to more floors it’s better

 

Ok I'm loving LM now. So much fun with Gooigi

 

Each floor has a boss on it and they're all incredible.

 

Yeah they're really cool, I like their individual personalities a lot lol.

Just beat the 4th floor piano boss and damn that was very annoying haha. I feel like it had way too many time-wasting "run away from these repetitive attacks before being able to do anything to attack back" moments. Stoked I had a couple gold bones on me

 

My favorite floor is the castle. Good spooky vibes

 

I think I liked the magic floor the best, but there were 6 or 7 I really loved. The only one I didn’t like is the basement one with the fucking rubber duck
