Hmmm so I just watched a review for Crosscode on Switch, good reviews but has the frustrating thing about being a pretty lousy port performance-wise. Reviewer said the menus are slow to load and glitchy. Ugh. Might wait for a patch? Idk hopefully the devs respond to this problem pretty quickly it looks like they are super involved with the game at all times.

 

Man my son has gotten so good at Splatoon 2. He kicks my ass now

Finished both Cosmic Star Heroine and Firewatch over the weekend. Great games, although I thought Firewatch wasted some of its potential.

 

I've 100%'d DKC multiple times, so I'm curious about how to get 101%.

I agree! One of my favorite games of all time.

 

I downloaded both the Cold Steel and Brigandine demos and they couldn't be more different. I haven't played any of the Cold Steel games so I was a bit in the dark. It throws you right into it with no tutorials at all. The battle system seemed pretty cool, but I think it would help to play the earlier games maybe.

Brigandine was the complete opposite. It had loads of tutorials, which is good because it's got a ton of stuff going on. It's like a mixture of Fire Emblem and Tactics Ogre, but it still manages to remain unique. I'm gonna mess around with the demo a little more but I'm definitely interested.

 

You have to play the other Cold Steel games or you will understand none of the references, characters, situations or storylines. It's very unfortunate they didn't port all of them over in a bundle.

Honestly, and I would nearly never say this about a game, that series would be better as a TV show. And practically useless as a game.
