I agree, the mods should come in and delete every post with the name of that “show” in it

 

I heard Friends is actually the origin of the term 'total shitshow'

 

I would rather play three uninterrupted hours of RDR2 than watch a single episode of Friends. At least RDR2 is well-written/well-acted.

I much rather watch Friends. I enjoy the show.

 

Between RDR2 and Friends it feels much easier to tune out Friends haha

But yeah it's bad

 

It's not one of my favourites at all but it's pretty watchable. I say this about a lot of shows people hate though. Then again those shows also happen to be some of the biggest shows of all time so really it doesn't matter what anyone of us thinks.

Friends is also very transphobic

 

I don't remember any of that but I believe you. It's a product of the 90s after all.

 

I can imagine, I haven't watched much Friends in a WHILE but last time Laura and I saw it on it was so homophobic that I can only imagine it's extremely transphobic too

 

A lot of things in Friends did not age well

 

I completely agree that they have problematic things like that, some cheap homophobic jokes, etc, but it's not the majority of the show. It's much much less than people make it out to be.

I would never deny the show has its issues and has some offensive material, but it also just seems like a show people want to hate because it's a popular thing to do.

 

I do think a lot of the homophobic and gender-norm etc etc humor is pretty dominant from what I've seen on but I do also agree that people hate just to hate a lot of the times.

 

In addition to the gross content the show indulges in, its also just not funny at all.
