Haha I played about an hour yesterday. I like it so far! Combat seems fun, but I’m most pulled in by the world/characters. Got to the town and started picking up side quests and was quickly overwhelmed. But I like that they straight up told me none of the quests are really “required” to progress the story.

 

Anybody play Dark Souls for Switch? I wanna play that game and that's my only option right now, thinking about picking it up for my birthday. Wondering how it plays

 

It runs close to the PS3/360 version so it's pretty good

Yeah that sucks because having this game be portable was a really enticing concept. The other versions are great though so if you have a console other than Switch definitely pick it up.

 

I would still play it, that stuff doesn't bother me at all

 

Based off some comments I've seen, I'm not entirely sure what people were expecting. Of course it was going to be a downgrade lol.

There will probably be patches too

 

people can know its gonna be a downgrade and still surprised that its so far from week old performance projections. never put stock in any statement containing the word "targeting"

 

Seen a lot of people saying stuff like why did they bother etc, when it's clear that it was never going to be for those people and they should play it on something else. Games like this are ported for people like oldjers who'd rather play a downgrade on Switch than a better version elsewhere. Just feels like a lot of the people complaining were never going to buy it anyway.
