Is there fast travel in this game?

 

The revamped quest structure is terrific. The only annoyance remaining is that quest givers only appear at certain times, and towns keep getting new guests, so every once in a while you have to check every town during the day and then again at night.

 

Are the red exclamation points the quest markers for quests you have accepted? I'm a little confused on quest tracking. Prob my ADHD kicking my ass

 

The red are the quest items. They can be monsters you have to beat, monsters who might drop the item you need, or the item itself. The white exclamation point is someone giving a quest. Blue exclamation points are quest items for the quest you are tracking.

 

yeah it doesn’t look like it’s arriving today, also not expecting to get it this weekend based on tracking info.

which i honestly 100% don’t mind (without sarcasm this time). there are far bigger things to care/worry about

when Animal Crossing came out, i told my fiancee the Switch was hers for a while. she's largely not a gamer but loves AC and was very excited for it, going as far as to avoid coverage of it and go in blind.

"sick of it" may never come. she crossed the 300 hour threshold today and has bought like 10 amiibo cards. i miss the Switch. someone please send me a second Switch. ty.
