I still want to play it. I should get it on Switch. I picked up the first one for when I want to do mindless grinding while watching a show

I bought it, its fun, you would like it.

 

So I have a bad habit of buying games when they’re on sale and waiting forever to play them and I’m making my way though the massive backlog. I own all of these and haven’t really started any. Which should I play first?

I’m going to play Mario maker 2 for a bit and then I’ll play hollow knight all the way through

 

First time I’ve been to Games stop in years. Actually glad. They had a buy two pre owned get one free plus I had gift cards. Didn’t have Slay the Spire physical, but I’ll dl it soon.

Did dragon quest change because it was too similar to digimon? Really liked those games

Early dragon quest was more like you catch monsters, train and breed them. Then it seems like they want to more of a style where everyone is just a warrior person? I'm not an encyclopedia of dragon quest, though but that's why I stopped playing

 

I just did some research about it because I know very little about the series. It says is started with V and it's continued since then, but mostly went to the Dragon Quest Monsters series.

I was trying to remember why it sounded so familiar and it was because Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker came out when I was in high school and I heard people talk about that one for some reason.

 

For a second I thought we were talking about Monster Rancher haha

 

I remember not understanding how to play this way back in the day

 

I just played the first one again and it's really all over the place. You fight in tournaments to earn money and then if they lose, they can fucking die and you can throw a funeral for them and stuff. It's absolutely crazy.

 

Not really rated for everyone
