Yesterday I had a private meltdown because GTS is gone but I still really enjoy the game lol

 

the 4 digit link code is what drives me mad, i went through four or five people before i was able to match with the person i wanted to trade with

why only 4 digits?!!! did they want it to be generic enough so people can put any code and randomly pair up with someone? if they wanted to do something like that why not just make a feature like “link trade with a random player” and do the unique trading separately?

 

I had the same problem. Even when it worked it took forever.

 

What did we lose by not having GTS? Ive never been into the trading scene.

 

You could basically say I want Pokemon A and I’ll give you B and just send that trade suggestion out into the world until someone sees it and agrees
