The final boss took me at least 30 tries over a few days. But I also suck at games. lol

 

Deaths Door is really great and absolutely worth playing, but Outer Wilds is a strong contender for the best game of all time. If you like exploration and figuring stuff out without a lot of guidance, you owe it to yourself to play that game. Get the expansion, Echoes of the Eye, too. Both have several of my all time favourite gaming moments in them.

 

Don’t know which one I’m playing first but this did convince me to buy them both!

 

I just put two and two together and realized that the reason for no OLED and the disappointing die size is production speed.

Also, did anyone get a case for the Switch 2 already? Last time I went with the official one, but I never liked how unsturdy it is, never felt good putting my Switch in a backpack with books and shit. Reddit keeps recommending Tomtoc, so maybe I'll get that, even though its looks corny.

I do have a tomtoc for my original switch and really like it.

 

I have a tomtoc for my OLED and like it as well. I think I remember the main complaint was the smell out of the box but I don't remember it being an issue.

 

+1 for Tomtoc, I throw my OLED Tomtoc case in my backpack with zero concerns whatsoever

 

+2 for Tomtoc. Love mine. Can't recommend it enough.

 

So it is more hardshell than it looks on the pictures?

 

Yeah, it’s extremely solidly build on the outside and also has a soft cloth covering on the inside despite being not much thicker than the console itself. I’ve never had any concern at all about my system getting damaged.

I've bought so many products with that complaint and have never seen the big deal haha. So what if it smells brand new out of the factory? Its gonna go away in a few days of airing out

 

I’ve never used screen protectors before, but I think I might for Switch 2. So does anyone have one they recommend? Also if it has a way to make placing the protector smoother, that would be dope because I have shaky ass hands.

 

I can’t place a screenprotector properly, not even my wife can, so I’m out of options and don’t even try it anymore

I was looking at the Switch 2 release calendar earlier and realized my two most anticipated for the rest of the year (Silksong and Legends ZA) are both launching cross-gen so I may not be buying this thing in 2025 after all

 

tomtoc is great and doesn't look corny.

I have this one for Switch 1 and it's great.

 

I got the big boi for my switch 1 so I could fit my pro controller and travel sized jump gate dock in it. Works great!

 

Tomtoc is so sturdy too. Genuinely love mine.
