This shit is so annoying, but as someone who works in web apps for a living... It is a bit understandable that there would be tech issues when so many people are basically DDOSing their servers right now lmao. Hard to expect them to drastically scale up their infrastructure for a one time event that happens with several years in between

Just to be clear, this is an 'America issue', not a 'console release issue'. Rest of the world went absolutely fine, invite lists that worked, shops having regular restocks, no insane queuing outside shops for hours in advance.

So the GameStop has opened. They are letting 1 person in at a time. And no word on how many they have so people are just waiting. I’m about 17th in line. Maybe 14th depending on how many people are together. 2 people came out already with receipts
It's so ridiculous in America, I was locked in non-stop for 50 mins past midnight just refreshing and retrying in order for me to finally get my Walmart pre-order, it shouldn't be that fucking hard.
