Pretty similar here. I had played the N64 one a few times when I was a kid at friends' houses but never owned it. Played double dash like twice during college at my friend's place. But DS and Wii were my firsts. Delfino Plaza is my favorite track.
I have a Nintendo Switch online account. I haven't played my switch much in the last year until Echoes of Wisdom was released. But I just noticed Gameboy games were added, I don't know how late I am on this but I'm excited since I never played the Zelda games on this system. My question is, should I start with Oracle of Ages or Oracle of Seasons? There's also the Minish Cap game.
You can't go wrong with either Oracle games. Ages is more puzzle based and Seasons is more action based. Both of them rule. Minish Cap is great too. Honestly can't miss with any of them, but I've played the Oracle games way more whereas I've played Minish Cap only once
Minish Cap is my favorite handheld Zelda for sure. Surprised that was the only original Zelda GBA game.
Technically BOTW and TOTK are handheld though so I feel like those are the true winners heh Minish Cap does have absolutely gorgeous pixel art though. I've been meaning to play it.
babysat my nephew tonight. Netflix wasn't working so we tried Amazon Prime and I saw the Mario Bros animated show from 1989 on there. I maybe erased that show from my mind because I did not remember the live action parts and the rap in the intro song lol. Best part was when they cut away to a preview of the new Zelda episode coming out that week, so much corniness
I remember finding that show on some random website like wayyy before it was normal for videos to be online and I was just shocked that it was possible to "watch TV on a computer"
I only owned a DS for a few months. I saved up my allowance and bought the Zelda DS that came with Phantom Hourglass, but didn’t really enjoy it as much as I thought I would and traded it in like an idiot. A couple years later I bought the Dialga/Palkia DS to get Pokemon Platinum, beat it in a week, then I have no idea what happened to it. The only handhelds I spent a lot of time on were GB Color and GBA. Never really got into DS or 3DS.
