That’s a lot of Switch 2s. I remember when I put ordered the Switch 1 my location only had 25

Yeah that's a good point. Maybe the way the site handles traffic and refreshes is different significantly enough that the apps are a little better

 

This may just be their very clever way of getting enough people onto apps so The Verge can pre-order all their Switch 2s on webpages.

 

I have my computer ready to go with Best Buy, Walmart and Target, and I have the Best Buy app. So I’ll see how it goes lol

The apps do work faster. Not exactly a hidden secret among people that pre-order anything in limited supply. The same was true when PS5 dropped too.

 

might be, when PS5s were still selling like hotcakes when they got restocked, I was able to get mine on the Target app. Missed out many times on my computer.

 

Doesn’t seem like you can refresh easily on the Best Buy app though

 

You just go back a page and go back in. Best Buy also uses a queue I believe.

The actual website will be crashed, while the app will still be loading more times than not. I promise you from many experiences, you are better off with the apps.

 

But just do both if you have a computer available.

Question is if I wanna do the bundle or just the console, I'm prob just gonna do the console as I feel like that will be the less sought out one.

 

But it also seems like they made more bundles than just console, hmmmmm

 

The bundles just include a code not a physical copy I believe, they’re only going to be limited because they are including the game at a discount compared to the normal price. Makes sense they’re offering more of those now.

 

Just a heads up, I forgot to update my Best Buy account and I’m trying to do it now but their server already seems to be over loaded.

Everything else is working but the payment update page keeps crashing

 

I'm just going to say it:

This world is so fucking stupid that it's this difficult to get a goddamn video game

 

It’s because of the people that don’t actually want these things and are just buying them to sell for a profit.
