Walmart and Target charge when it ships. I've heard best buy does a temporary charge on your card then charges again later. But I'm not positive on best buy

 

they wait until they go out but they also do a temporary charge I believe when you place the order to make sure you have the money

 

Everyone going for the bundle makes me think the safer play is the console only

 

Console only is only the safer way if you don't care about MK at all or don't care about wasting extra money on getting MK by itself.

 

I don't plan on buying MK so console only is great for me.

 

The bundle appears to just be a sticker on the box and probably a download card inside, so I'm hoping they actually have a lot of bundles.

 

Going for just the console because my brain is forever committed to physical media

 

I'll be honest I would be okay with doing $90 physical

IF it guaranteed ownership of the game and didn't still require downloading the game

At that point it feels silly

 

I checked and it looks like it should still be $80 for physical. So I deleted my post. lol

 

That’s on the publishers for those games though. Big lazy. They could put the entire game on the cartridge if they wanted to.

 

See, but that would mean they would have to optimize their code and make a quality product instead of just rushing it out the door with unnecessarily large file sizes. Think about the investors!

 

And this is why my biggest gripe is the storage size forever

I went to GameStop today, they said they only need $50 down

 

I mean they need every dollar they can get

 

I have a definitive feeling that I will not be able to get any of the preorders

 

I think it's going to be a clusterfuck

 

Already have Target, Walmart and Best Buy open in separate tabs on the preorder pages. Just gonna mash refresh at 11:59.

 

I read an article from the verge indicating you have better chances in apps than browsers. Any truth to that?

 

No idea why that would be the case tbh

I usually shop Walmart on my phone though. Maybe I'll try to buy it in the app while simultaneously adding to my cart on Best Buys website on my laptop

 

Yeah, wouldn't that be worse?

 

Apple app always works better for me than the web for pre-orders, for what that's worth. But the Best Buy app is absolute shit.

 

I mean, both options sound fucking terrible. They should just call me and sell me one directly
