The first is so great and gets multiple plays from me. My son loves it too.

 

Here’s my hot take: I tried Hades 2 on my Deck and I didn’t care for it. I know I’m in the minority but I found everything too small.

(I have nothing but love of Hades 2 on a big ole screen tho)

I don't think I played the first Hades in handheld, now that I think about it. When I was sinking massive time into that game, my Switch was always hooked up to my monitor. I should probably check that because now I'm curious if it'll feel small for me too.

 

We use ours mostly docked. A fun side note: my son went to a gaming birthday party and it was pretty cool. Like 10 kids crammed into this trailer (AC too!) and all playing Super Smash bros, Fortnite and Mortal Kombat. Then there was this one kid sitting in the corner playing Hades.
