Yeah I’m not even trying for the bundle. I think my chances will be a bit higher going just for the system. I’ll gladly spend the extra $30 if I’m able to snag a system lol

was just watching the new Kit & Krysta (former Nintendo marketing employees) video on the negative response to the price as this news dropped. they agree it's bad and too expensive and needs to be addressed soon to maintain goodwill, but they don't see a price decrease happening before launch.

pausing preorders due to the tariffs is only one small step in addressing the problem, and it doesn't really address the problem at all if you're only delaying the inevitable emptying of your consumers' wallets. maybe they'll throw in some digital extras to soften the blow, but i think this is just a lose-lose situation regardless of what they say

 

Honestly Nintendo should just delay the launch of the Switch 2 in America. I can wait if it means not paying $600 for a gaming console

 

I can let even afford the $450 version right now lol

Yeah, I'm not paying more than $500 for that bundle. I'll just get one whenever it's that price again.
