Mesci whipped me into a frenzy but somehow after an hour I had to give up because European retail continues to be complicated lol

 

Drop the price, sure, they could do that and it would be nice of them.

But why aren't these people harassing the people with the power to change the minimum wage? These people never put in any fucking effort into actually changing the core problem, just what affects them.

 

I guess my posts just get ignored. lol

 

I've always thought that Diddy Kong Racing was better than Mario Kart so I'm very stoked that they've brought a little bit of that spirit to the new open world format with the new Mario kart.

DKR replayability was so much higher for me because of the story line mode where it felt like you got the best of both worlds - especially getting to replay races but with different vehicles and having new aspects of the course to deal with. So good.

 

Also if you want closed curcuit races, we're getting a brand new Sonic & Sega racing game this year so you'll be catered to.

I'm elated about the direction Mario Kart is taking.

 

I wouldn't be shocked if MK has a classic mode or something, where you can just race like before.

 

Forza Horizon Kart sounds the most sick and I may never put the game down

I am extremely excited for DK. I’m a huge fan of that franchise, been desperate for another 3D game for 25 years and I LOVE Odyssey, which it very much seems inspired by and I’m fairly certain the team who made Odyssey made it.

The DK game was the highlight for me easily. Duskbloods looks promising too. But honestly I was looking to replay BOTW and now I can upgrade or whatever.

 

Man assuming that new GC controller is Bluetooth like the N64 one, emulation with that thing alone will be sweet. And playing Mario Sunshine in the 3D All Stars game

 

I know there's a speeding joke I can make but seems to low speed for me ;)

cool they got set loose on another IP and didn't just have to get right to work on Odyssey 2

 

It is cool in a way but I feel like it also means this is the alleged finished 3D Mario (as in rumours got it wrong) and actual 3D Mario is a long way off
