I am glad they reminded people that Clubhouse Games exists because that is a hidden gem in terms of Switch's multiplayer offerings
Clubhouse got me hooked on Hanafuda to the point where my partner picked up the old Club Nintendo deck (also featured in the game) on eBay as a birthday gift for me. love that collection.
Clubhouse got me really into Mancala for a time so much I learned all the strategies and started smoking people online. Got me feeling like a Mancala master.
I was thinking about novel ways they could use the camera. How about this: Mario Maker where it lets you take a video of yourself performing all the run/jump/crouch/celebration actions and you can play custom Mario levels as yourself.
I don't own Mario Party Jamboree yet and was thinking maybe I will just buy it now so I can only spend $20-$25 for the upgrade whenever I eventually get the Switch 2. Because I probably won't get the Switch 2 at launch. Jamboree is actually on sale on Amazon for $50 right now so maybe it'll save me $10 down the line.
Update: I went ahead and bought Mario Party Jamboree on sale now so I can just spend like $20 when I eventually want to play the upgrade stuff instead of another $80 when I buy all my Switch 2 stuff
Imma be the one to say it: the mouse function is dumb and will become virtually unused after a year. It’s a console for God’s sake. What are you gonna use the mouse on? A tray on your lap? Also, it’s the opposite of ergonomic. Also, I’m like 99% the wheelchair robot basketball game will be the worst game they ever made?
Also legit like my number two most anticipated game in that direct is the Witch indie game, been waiting for that one forever
I think the mouse has a lot of promise for lots of different types of games. Especially RPG and Strategy PC game ports. Mario Party, Wario Ware, and Mario Maker the mouse makes perfect sense for. The camera however I doubt I will ever buy or use.
