Knowing amazon, good luck. Unless they have a new system I don’t know about. Amazon will probably be the hardest one to get one off of after Nintendo. That said, I am also going for Amazon, but I’m not optimistic. lol
Thank God they're upgrading scarlet and violet for free haha. Would have been bullshit if they charged for that after the dumpster fire those games were lol
Just saw the details on MarioKart and kind of bummed. It took a while for me to get my son into playing Mariokart on his switch, and now he loves it, and I told him a new one was coming out and he was so excited. But not only is it Switch 2 exclusive, but it being open world concept would probably not be the same experience...which obviously that's kind of hte point lol, but idk. Just seems really different than what he loves about it. But yeah we're not buying him a new switch so it's moot anyway.
Yeah, Nintendo isn't like Sony where they're going to release backwards compatible games for over a year after launch. New games are Switch 2 or bust, baby.
Yeah I saw a YouTuber reacting to the direct and he had a screenshot up that showed those games. Just found this, too:
They definitely did a shitty job explaining the upgrade packs. Especially by lumping the ones that are free with NSO and the ones that come with paid DLC together and not explaining the difference.
Hell yeah. I'm going to finally snag one of those. Held off buying for those exact performance reasons in hopes they would somehow be improved on Switch 2.
You know what game I would be shocked if they don't give a Switch 2 upgrade to? Mario Maker 2. That would really benefit from the mouse feature.
Yeah thinking about it MM3 instead of an update makes more sense especially since they're probably anxious to incorporate Wonder graphics/skins.
I just remember walking into gamestop and putting the minimum down then getting it on launch day. Couldn’t have been easier. But it’s a different world now I’m guessing
