The pricing news doesn't even matter if the price has to possibly be changed before release now. So this is going to be talked about for awhile.
Hey, don't lump all of us together with those nazi losers. I don't want this shit. lol And it could still increase your price too, so I wouldn't speak too soon.
Speaking too soon and jinxing things are just two of my favorite things. also, apologies, ofc I didn't mean it like that.
Hahaha I know, but now's not the time, mesc. $500 I could've managed probably, if what I'm hoping happens happens. But if that shoots up, so will my fucking blood pressure. lmao
I can send you some pills for that my doctor is very lax with prescriptions. if trump makes the switch price go up that’ll get him killed lmao
Then they'll just make him into a martyr. There's no winning here. We're just spending $900 on a Switch 2
Unfortunate reality is that AAA games cost a lot of money to make, and those costs are only going up. People hate microtransactions in games, and rightly so. But the tradeoff to not having microtransactions is the games are gonna cost more. I'm happy still paying $80 for a quality game AAA without microtransactions. Bigger concern is that we're now gonna see the "base" version of games start at $80 and then the microtransaction deluxe addons are gonna cost even more.
Except Rockstar wants to charge you $100 for the game, while making billions off GTA Online microtransactions. Greedy companies will do both because they can and no one can stop them if the game is a hit.
All of that is true. I wish people online (mainly reddit and twitter) could have some of your common sense before they just start foaming at the mouth.
right yeah. I just don't think it's reasonable to blame Nintendo for that, or to except them to keep selling games at $60. I do hope with the higher price tags we get a bit better sales in the future from Nintendo though. Or at least a willingness to drop the price of games after a few years. They make a ton of quality games and even if they need to increase the price to afford to make all of them... higher prices make it even harder for everyone to play them all.
I honestly don’t have a problem with the price. $80 for Mario kart is a huge smack in the face, but it’s Mario kart. I’ll buy it and say thank you while I do it.
If it's the same franchise turnaround as 8, people are going to be playing that new Mario Kart for the next 10 years. People pay $60 for games they play for a few months then put down. Hell i have payed $60 for games i ended up not being into and not finishing. Many people are going to be playing MK consistently over the course of a decade. I think that somewhat justifies it. I also think GTA at $100 is justifiable for the same reason too especially if it has good online mode, people are still playing GTA5.
Mind blowing to me that people think GTA6 at $100 is justifiable with how much money that company makes on the part of the game most of you probably aren't going to even play. They could make GTA6 online free to play and it would still make more money than if they sold GTA6 story mode for $100. Y'all mfers are nuts to just be okay with that bullshit when people can barely fucking eat. Weird as shit.
I just read most all comments since the Direct at 8am. Fun reading the live reactions. I got my Switch 1 on launch day but haven't played it really at all in YEARS. However, this has me hyped. I'll upgrade to the BOTW enhanced edition so now I might finally beat it. I'm 39 and I work with a handful of 19-24 year olds, and we all are talking about it today at work lol. My big problem is do we need a 2nd one for me AND the wife....... I'm going to try to make just 1 work
I just checked and Target definitely charges when the item ships and not when the order is placed. I also checked Walmart and they are the same. Hope that helps someone else!
