Day 1 with Mario kart for me

 

Yeah I'm gonna try for the bundle and see what happens when it comes to pay for it in June. lol

 

I love how Nintendo thought they had to spend 15 minutes explaining how voice chat works to us in the year 2025

 

Also I really need a direct showing the new eShop and other updates to the system because they really fucked that up on Switch 1

 

This is the most exciting direct I've ever seen. Wow. Amazing stuff. Donkey Kong looks really fun

Also, glad it's just an upgrade for people who own those four games. I own all of them haha

Did it confirm if totk and BOTW are 4k? I only heard improved graphics

 

Pretty sure this will be the first console I buy on day one. Do not miss being poor anymore lol.

 

Wonder if my current switch online membership has to be 12 months?? I let mine lapse for a bit, but definitely had it for more than 12 months before that. I have it again now.

interesting tidbits on Upgrade Packs from the website: not sure if it's for all games or just Mario Party, but it looks like the Switch 2 Editions are just gonna be the standard Switch cartridges with an Upgrade Pack download code bundled in.

NSO members will get upgrade packs for BOTW/TOTK at no additional charge (but they can obviously be purchased separately too)

that was one thing i was wondering about re: upgrades. if physical copies of the Switch 2 Editions were being sold, would it be more beneficial to buy the Switch version and upgrade vs. buying a new game card with the Switch 2 edition by itself on it - especially if the differences between versions are essentially software updates? i'm wondering if they'll distinguish between different types of game cards for upcoming releases (like MP4), but for older games, it probably makes sense to just sell the original game with a download card.

Congrats dude! Funny you say that, I just realized today is the two-year anniversary of the last time I drank. Gave it up the week I found out my wife was pregnant.

That said, having a kid eats up all of my disposable income. Gonna have to downgrade my vehicle significantly to be able to have the savings to get this and all of the games I want lol (I really wish I was joking here).
