I know lol I was there when it happened, it was a wild time. But Rare/Microsoft does not own many of those IPs or games. Nintendo doesn’t need Rare to remake any Donkey Kong game.

 

they only own the ip for the kongs and krunch, not the other characters in the racing game

DKR is just a nostalgia thing for me. MK9 will be dope i’m sure.

Microsoft are losers so they'll allow Nintendo to use characters if it makes them money, just like they did with Banjo in Smash so your point is moot

 

They even published an original Banjo game on GBA

Yeah Banjo was a game I'd play at my friends house, but never owned it. Had fun the few times I played though

I think my first N64 games were Smash Bros and Beetle Adventure Racing. Both were great.

Maybe Pokemon Snap, too. But tbh I never liked that game. I still don't understand the hype of just... Taking photos haha

 

I think Mine was maybe Majora’s Mask, but I am really not sure
